How to use a trial well
A trial is only useful if it answers your own scheduling question, so plan it before you sign up:
- Load your own routings and a real week of orders, not the demo data.
- Test one breakdown and one rush order to see whether the plan updates itself or waits for a planner.
- Check whether the trial includes the ERP connection or API you will need, since some vendors keep the API for paid plans.
- Ask the vendor what happens to your data when the trial ends, and whether the trial converts to a paid plan automatically.
- Note the date the trial started, because a trial that charges a card afterwards needs a decision before the last day.
