Odoo Manufacturing Review 2026

Odoo Manufacturing is an open-source MRP-ERP best for small manufacturers that want scheduling inside the Odoo ERP they already run or plan to adopt, ranked #4 of 10 on our small manufacturers list as of October 2026. Odoo lists the Standard plan at 19.90 euros per user per month. There is also a One App Free plan that covers a single app with unlimited users on Odoo Online. Its defining capability is finite capacity planning on a Gantt chart, where linked work orders move automatically when a planner drags one of them. It is not a fit if you already run another ERP and only need a scheduling layer, or if the schedule should rebuild itself when a machine stops.

Odoo Manufacturing pricing 2026

As of October 2026, Odoo lists the Standard plan at 19.90 euros per user per month. The Custom plan is listed at 35.90 euros per user per month. Custom is the plan that adds Odoo Studio, multiple companies, the external API and the Agentic AI features shown on the pricing page. Light User seats are listed at 7.90 euros.

The pricing page also shows crossed-out list prices next to the plan figures. The One App Free plan costs nothing and covers one app with unlimited users on Odoo Online. Adding a second app moves the account to the Standard plan. Odoo shows a trial button, but the trial length and any card requirement are not published by the vendor as of October 2026.

Odoo Manufacturing’s Standard plan, at 19.90 euros per user per month as of October 2026, is the lowest published paid price on our small manufacturers list. Free plans exist from frePPLe Community Edition, Odoo One App Free, just plan it and Katana.

Odoo Manufacturing features: finite capacity scheduling and automatic rescheduling

The Odoo Manufacturing page states “finite capacity planning” with a Gantt view, alongside MRP, MES, PLM, quality, shop floor and maintenance apps. How deep that capacity model goes, for example which constraints it respects beyond the Gantt view, is not published by the vendor as of October 2026.

On rescheduling, the Odoo documentation on work order dependencies says that linked work orders “can be rescheduled automatically”. The default setting is “Auto-Reschedule (Keep Buffer)”, which keeps the gap between dependent work orders when one of them moves. That rescheduling starts when a planner drags a work order in the Gantt chart. The documentation describes no trigger from machine stops, late material or other shop-floor events. Odoo does not describe a scheduling optimizer engine on its manufacturing or features pages. The Custom plan lists Agentic AI, but Odoo does not tie it to production scheduling as of October 2026.

Odoo Manufacturing ERP integration

Odoo Manufacturing is part of the Odoo ERP, so the native path is to plan production on the same records as the other Odoo apps you subscribe to. There is no separate scheduling product to connect. Connecting Odoo to an outside system through the external API requires the Custom plan as of October 2026.

The integration work a buyer should expect therefore depends on the starting point. If Odoo is your ERP, the work is configuration inside Odoo. If you keep a different ERP, Odoo Manufacturing would duplicate it rather than plug into it, and you would need the Custom plan and custom API work to sync orders.
