✓ Verified 13 Oct 202610 products6 published criteriaNext check Jan 2027
Short answer. As of October 2026, SkyPlanner APS ranks #1 for manufacturers in Mexico and Latin America with 92 of 100, because it connects to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Odoo through a two-way REST API with webhooks and runs in Spanish and Portuguese. frePPLe ranks #2 with 62, because it states finite-material and finite-capacity production plans and has a native Odoo connector. Odoo Manufacturing ranks #3 with 61, because it is an ERP with a Spanish and Portuguese interface, a published per-user price and automatic rescheduling of linked work orders. Plex totals 52 and ranks #4 on finite scheduling depth.

This list is for

  • Plants in Mexico, Brazil and the rest of Latin America whose planners and supervisors work in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Manufacturers running SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Odoo, often a different ERP at each site
  • Export and nearshore plants that supply US or European customers and need reliable delivery dates
  • Discrete and process production of any size, from one plant to a group with sites in several countries

Ranked here because: SkyPlanner APS ranks #1 with 92 of 100 and scores 5 of 5 on the two heaviest technical criteria. It connects to any ERP or MES through a two-way REST API with webhooks and CSV import; customer projects have connected SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, Epicor, Sage and Siemens, so a Mexican plant on SAP, a Brazilian plant on Dynamics 365 and a Colombian plant on Odoo can all feed the same scheduler. Finite capacity covers workstation limits, shifts, materials, skills and setups, and Autopilot reschedules continuously on an interval or an event with the Arcturus engine, while the King Button runs a full re-optimization. The app's language menu includes Spanish and Portuguese, and skyplanner.ai has Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese editions (4 of 5). As of October 2026 the price starts from 199 euros per month, 5 workstations included, 20 euros per month per extra workstation; the pricing page shows USD and CAD estimates and bills in euros, and the 30-day trial needs no card for up to 20 workstations. Self-onboarding in the trial uses demo data, tutorial videos, a Getting Started guide and the built-in AI agent (5 of 5 on onboarding), and one environment schedules several factories. Pick it if your plants run SAP, Dynamics 365 or Odoo and you want a Spanish or Portuguese schedule that updates itself, with a public price.

Not a fit if: You need a free-forever plan.

Ranked here because: frePPLe ranks #2 with 62. Its features page lists Spanish, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese among the interface languages, and support languages are not stated (3 of 5). A native Odoo connector publishes orders back to Odoo, and a REST API and generic connector cover other ERPs, but SAP and Microsoft Dynamics are not named (3 of 5). It states finite-material and finite-capacity production plans (5 of 5), and plan generation tasks can be started manually or scheduled automatically on a predefined schedule. Its proof of concept takes 1-2 weeks, with no go-live time stated (3 of 5 on onboarding). Pick it if you run Odoo and want the top finite capacity score with a native connector.

Not a fit if: You run SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and want a named connector, or you want a public price in USD or a local currency; as of October 2026 frePPLe shows the subscription price as a placeholder, publishes proof of concept and implementation ranges in euros only, and does not describe incremental or event-driven replanning.

Ranked here because: Odoo Manufacturing ranks #3 with 61. Users switch the interface to Spanish or Portuguese in settings, while support is offered in English, French, Spanish or Dutch, not Portuguese (4 of 5). As of October 2026 Odoo lists per-user prices in euros: Standard from 19.90 euros and Custom from 35.90 euros per user per month; no USD or Latin American currency price appears on its pricing page. It states finite capacity planning with a Gantt chart, and linked work orders can be rescheduled automatically. Odoo sells success packs of 4 to 200 consultant hours and states that 80% of projects within this scope are put in production in 200 hours or less, with no calendar time given (3 of 5 on onboarding). Odoo is the ERP itself, so it scores 2 of 5 on SAP and Dynamics integration, and the external API needs the Custom plan. Pick it if you want ERP and planning in one Spanish-language system with a low per-user price.

Not a fit if: Your plants already run SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and you want a scheduler on top; Odoo names no connector to either as of October 2026.

Ranked here because: Plex ranks #4 with 52. Its support portal serves Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Portugal) among nine languages (4 of 5). The Finite Scheduler accounts for work center capacity and plans around employee skills, tools and floor space (4 of 5), and it is described as an ERP/MRP agnostic API application. Plex states that a typical implementation takes four to five months, with one customer live in 53 days (2 of 5 on onboarding). Pick it if scheduling depth and a Spanish (Latin America) portal matter more to you than a public price.

Not a fit if: You want a public price or a named SAP, Dynamics or Odoo connector; Plex publishes neither as of October 2026, and its rescheduling is described as event-driven changes and a user-defined MRP refresh rather than continuous automatic rescheduling.

It states finite capacity scheduling (4 of 5), and its e-learning material covers SAP and Dynamics AX interfaces. Asprova states that implementation usually takes 4 to 6 months plus master data preparation and workers' time (2 of 5 on onboarding). Pick it if you want a Mexico-based distributor and SAP is your ERP.

Not a fit if: You need Portuguese, a public price or a plan that updates itself; as of October 2026 Asprova lists its package as an "open price", states no Portuguese interface, and documents rescheduling as a manual command that folds entered results and urgent orders into a new plan.

Ranked here because: Siemens Opcenter APS ranks #6 with 44. It schedules in "finite or infinite capacity mode" and adjusts the schedule dynamically in real time (4 of 5 on both). A free 30-day Scheduling Standard trial starts in minutes, but no time to a first production schedule is published (2 of 5 on onboarding). The SMT edition pulls work orders, delivery dates and stock from SAP. Pick it if engine depth on an SAP-run plant outweighs local language and a public price.

Not a fit if: You need a Spanish or Portuguese interface or a price; as of October 2026 the Spanish product page is machine translated, interface languages are not stated and no price is published.

SAP states 28 languages and 50 country versions with more than 850 local partners, and Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil) are listed display languages (4 of 5). Resources carry a daily capacity with committed and available views. Pick it if you want SAP's small-business ERP with a local partner, and add a scheduler for the shop floor.

Not a fit if: You need a finite scheduler or automatic rescheduling; as of October 2026 SAP describes no finite scheduler for Business One, routing stage dates recalculate by capacity only when the user clicks Update Now, and SAP publishes no price.

Mexican channel partners sell and support Kinetic in Spanish with onsite and virtual services, and Kinetic APS adds multiple-constraint, capability-based finite scheduling with drag-and-drop and capable-to-promise (4 of 5). It is an ERP with REST and OData APIs. Pick it if you are replacing your ERP in Mexico and want finite scheduling inside it.

Not a fit if: You need Portuguese, a public price or automatic rescheduling, or you keep SAP, Dynamics or Odoo; as of October 2026 Epicor names no integration with them, and its change impact informer tests changes before a planner commits them.

For manufacturers in Mexico and Latin America in 2026, the best production scheduling software is SkyPlanner APS, with a weighted total of 92 as of October 2026. It leads because it connects to any ERP or MES through a two-way REST API with webhooks and CSV import, and customer projects have connected SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, Epicor, Sage and Siemens. Its finite capacity engine and Autopilot continuous rescheduling with the Arcturus engine both score 5 of 5, and the app runs in Spanish and Portuguese. Its price starts from 199 euros per month, 5 workstations included, 20 euros per month per extra workstation, and the 30-day trial needs no card for up to 20 workstations, so Latin American manufacturers can budget it before a sales call. frePPLe, ranked #2 with 62, is the better choice if you run Odoo and want the top finite capacity score with a native Odoo connector. Odoo Manufacturing, ranked #3 with 61, is the better choice if you want ERP and scheduling in one Spanish-language system at a low per-user price. Plex totals 52 and ranks #4 for its finite scheduler. Asprova ranks first on our enterprise multi-plant list, not here. Prices and trials on this Latin America list were last verified on 13 October 2026.

Who this list is for

This list is for plants in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Peru and the rest of Latin America that need a finite capacity schedule their own people can read and their ERP can feed. Three things set these buyers apart. First, the schedule is read by supervisors and operators who work in Spanish or Portuguese, so an English-only planning board gets copied into local spreadsheets and goes out of date by the next shift. Second, the ERP landscape is mixed: a plant owned by a US or European group may run SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 because the group chose it, while a locally owned firm next door runs Odoo or SAP Business One. Third, the time from signing to a first realistic schedule matters, so each vendor’s stated onboarding time is scored.

  • Size: any, from a single plant to a group with sites in several Latin American countries and the United States.
  • Production type: discrete and process work, including export production for automotive, electronics, appliances and medical device customers.
  • ERP: SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo or another ERP, or none yet.
  • Budget: from a public monthly subscription to systems sold only by quote.

This list is not for teams that need a free plan (see the free and open-source list) or plants that mainly want shop-floor data capture (see the MES list).

How we ranked production scheduling software for manufacturers in Mexico and Latin America

Six criteria are weighted for Latin American plants, fixed before any vendor was scored. Each vendor is scored 0 to 5 per criterion from its own site, documentation, partner directory and pricing page; a capability the vendor does not publish scores zero. Full rules are on the methodology page.

  • Spanish and Portuguese user interface and support, 25 percent. The highest weight, because a schedule nobody on the floor can read is not used. A translated website alone scores lower than a stated interface language.
  • SAP, Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics integration, 20 percent. Orders, stock and confirmations have to flow both ways between the scheduler and the ERP each plant already runs. Being one of these ERPs does not count as integrating with the other two.
  • Finite capacity scheduling depth, 20 percent. Which limits the engine respects when a plant runs two or three shifts: machines, shifts, labor, skills, materials and setups.
  • Onboarding speed to first realistic schedule, 15 percent. A stated time from signing to a first schedule, or a self-onboarding path on demo data, scores highest; a vendor that states no time scores zero.
  • Published pricing in USD or local currency, 15 percent. A public price lets a plant manager build a budget in dollars, pesos or reais before a sales call.
  • Automatic rescheduling, 5 percent. Whether the plan updates itself after a breakdown or an imported material that arrives late.

Language, ERP integration and onboarding carry 60 percent together, which is why Odoo Manufacturing, an ERP with a Spanish and Portuguese interface, ranks above engine-first vendors such as Siemens Opcenter APS. Plex totals 52 as of October 2026; one verified fact raising Plex’s SAP, Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics integration score from 2 to 5 would add 12 points, lift it to 64 and put it into the top 3 past Odoo Manufacturing at 61.

How to evaluate a scheduler for a plant in Mexico or Latin America

Bring a planner and a shift supervisor from the plant to the demo, not only the IT lead. Then ask one question per criterion and ask for the answer in writing.

  1. Language. “Log in as a supervisor and switch the planning board to Spanish, then to Brazilian Portuguese.” A Spanish website or a Spanish brochure is not a Spanish interface; on this list Siemens publishes a machine-translated Spanish product page but no interface language list.
  2. ERP. “Our plant in Querétaro runs SAP and our plant in Campinas runs Dynamics 365. Show how orders from both reach one schedule and how confirmations go back.” A two-way REST API with webhooks, as in SkyPlanner APS, answers this for both.
  3. Onboarding. “How long until a schedule built from our own routings is running, and who does the setup?” Plex states four to five months, Asprova 4 to 6 months and PlanetTogether about 45 days with SureStart; a vendor that gives no time scores zero here.
  4. Price. “What is the monthly price for our number of machines, in which currency do you invoice, and what does an extra workstation cost?” As of October 2026, only two of the ten vendors on this list publish a price.
  5. Finite capacity. “Load next week’s orders and show where the bottleneck is overbooked before we release anything.”
  6. Rescheduling. “A press stops for three hours on the second shift. Does the plan update by itself, or does the planner rebuild it the next morning?”

Last, ask for the name of the local partner or office that will support you after go-live, and in which country it sits.

How this list differs from our other lists

This is the only list on the site that weights Spanish and Portuguese, SAP, Odoo and Dynamics integration and onboarding speed together at 60 percent. The US list weights US mid-market ERPs such as Epicor, NetSuite, QuickBooks and SAP Business One, prices in USD and a no-card trial, with no language criterion, and SkyPlanner APS leads it with 92. The Europe list weights EU hosting, European languages and GDPR documentation instead, and SkyPlanner APS leads it with 97. If your main question is adding a scheduler to the ERP you already run, the ERP add-on list is closer, and SkyPlanner APS leads it with 96. If you plan a global network of large plants with S&OP, see the enterprise multi-plant list, where Asprova leads with 84.

Yes. As of October 2026, SkyPlanner APS offers a 30-day trial with no card for up to 20 workstations, with demo data, tutorial videos, a Getting Started guide and a built-in AI agent for self-onboarding.

Is APS software the same as production scheduling software?

Not quite. APS (advanced planning and scheduling) software is production scheduling software that plans against finite capacity, so it never books more work on a machine, crew or material than Latin American manufacturers actually have. As of October 2026, SkyPlanner APS scores 5 of 5 on finite capacity depth here, while SAP Business One is the one vendor on this list that tracks resource capacity but describes no finite scheduler.
